PARAKH ORIENTATION SESSIONS

Mr. Govind Kulkarni (Physic Lecturer- Garware College, Pune)
An orientation programme was conducted at PARAKH, NCERT, New Delhi, on 14 August 2026 for educators and subject experts associated with assessment and question-paper development. The sessions focused on developing a deeper understanding of the objectives and functioning of PARAKH, standardisation of question-paper design, and the integration of assessment frameworks and digital platforms.
The orientation provided valuable insights into the emerging assessment ecosystem in alignment with the vision of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, with emphasis on competency-based, holistic and standardised assessment practices.
