Importance of Teachers Training

            Students like teachers, who inspire them and make their teaching enjoyable. Teachers can easily motivate students to learn if they are active inside the classroom. For the same, it’s very important for a teacher to understand and use applicable or new method of teaching. 
            To make classroom activities/teaching more inspiring, teachers need to try something new or to find new ways how to make students learn the day’s lesson easily. Teachers should not stick with the old or familiar methods in teaching to make teaching-learning more enjoyable. 
            It is inevitable that the assumptions, methods and ideas of teaching should change with time. So a teacher should keep himself updated with the latest trends and methods of teaching through training. 
            Teachers should attend training, seminars and workshops where new motivation strategies will be taught and demonstrated. While attending these kinds of workshops, they will be encouraged to apply the modern and holistic approach in teaching. And they will be able to change the atmosphere inside their class from routinely traditional to inspiring way of learning. 
            Generally, teachers attend training, seminars and workshops to know the changes in curriculum or for their professional development but very few of them implement. So it is very important for teachers to remember that the innovative ways they are learning from training must be implemented to make learning experience enjoyable, exciting and full of fun.

It is necessary not merely for creating skill but also professional advancement. 

It motivates teachers to adopt new scientific methods.
It provides knowledge and skill about new discoveries and skills.
It develops the power of rational thought and argumentation.
It strengthens the power of critical thinking.
It makes teachers to compare themselves with others, get benefit of experiences of others.
It provides a professional platform to express oneself on educational topics. 

My dear friends, we teachers attend many training which are conducted by Education Dept or other institutions. We attend them either willingly or as a part of job. But purpose/ objective of training is related to all round development of teachers and of course, students, too.
