Webinars

I heard the word ‘Webinar’ first time during the workshop of Content Development of RAA Spoken English MOOC. We had demos and then I realized its importance.
A webinar is a web based seminar. Its online event, meeting, training or discussion held via the Internet in real-time. It connects individuals with viewers across the world. Webinars are popular now-a-days for education, training, business and corporate meetings.

Advantages of Webinar
Convenience:
It is easy and convenient for both presenter and attendees.Cost effective:
No expenses. It avoids costs related to venue rent, food and other expenses, which will allow you to charge less for the event and, even free to have more attendees.Access:
As an educator, you can reach a wider audience of students and teachers, as they will not have to spend time and money on travel. They can just join to your webinar from anywhere.
Better interactive
Webinars are really useful in engaging the listeners through live presentations and interactive multimedia which can makes the distance feel less of a hurdle.

There are many platforms for webinar.
During lockdown due to Corona pandemic, it is very difficult to engage our-self in constructive activities. And one of the solutions is attending webinars on educational platforms.  Cambridge University Press MENA had a series of webinars for teachers and educators on various topics related to teaching techniques. It is an exclusive webinar series designed to support teachers and educators in schools,
